Our sweet, old lady Snickers turned 14 today! I'll be honest, I wasn't sure she would make it this long

Snickers came from a breeder. She was rescued when she was 10. She would have died if she wasn't rescued then. She also had a leg injury that was years old and never fixed...why? Because it didn't have an impact on her getting pregnant. So, she can only use 3 of her legs (don't worry, you'd never know with how good and fast she gets around).
I adopted her knowing her life was rough and that she had some medical issues. I just wanted her to have a good life for once, even if it was only for a short time.
Well, y'all, this girl is strong. And determined. And sweet. And loving. And carefree. We spoil the heck out of her. We love her fiercely. She gets all the proper care she needs. She has Piper, her best friend. She is thriving.
Sometimes I forget she's our oldest, because she acts like she's the youngest.
Happy birthday sweet girl.
