Summary: Nick & Noel’s Christmas Playlist: Nick Winter is just out of the military, and his Christmas homecoming is not going as planned. What was supposed to be a memorable holiday with his long-time girlfriend goes sour when he learns she cheated on him while he was stationed overseas. At least Nick can rely on his usual shift at the family Christmas tree farm with his best friend, Noel Carter, and her endless supply of Christmas tunes to lift his spirits. A night of fun together is just what he needs to forget about his ex. If Noel can turn Nick’s Blue Christmas merry and bright, this might be the last Christmas Nick spends with a broken heart. This year, they’ll be Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree as a couple―as long as Nick’s ex doesn’t go standing under any mistletoe.
There’s Something About Merry: A guarded single dad. A woman scared to love. Clark Griffin and Merry Winters are determined to be friends and nothing more. But they’ve been anonymously flirting with each other online, and with a little Christmas magic and the help of a precocious kid, these two might just get their one wish this year.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐1/2
My Thoughts: Nick & Noel’s Christmas Playlist: This was a cute, holiday romance. I liked Nick more than Noel. He is such a wholesome, good guy. I understand Noel’s history, but didn’t understand why she continued to push people away (I personally experienced something similar to her).
Loved all the song references and the Winters’s family.
There’s Something About Merry: I liked the relationship dynamic in this one better than the other book. I also liked that we got to read about another Winters sibling (Merry).
Clark and his son are adorable. Their relationship was so enjoyable to read.
I guess this might be sort of enemies to lovers. Either way, this was a cute story.
There is a third Winters sibling, Holly. She has her own story, but so far it’s only on audiobook. I hope it gets released in paperback so I can complete my series.
